Due to a new project, our Engineering customer require 2 Design Engineers to join their team.
You'll have a background in vehicle design & previous experience of body in white, chassis design or interior assembly is essential.
Key activities
- Design, develop and verify CAD models to support new and existing projects
- Develop prototype and concept designs into final production
- Perform Design for Manufacture (DFM) activities for products and tooling
- Solve engineering problems and provide solutions using design best practises
- Interface with customers to capture and define their requirements and expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in design, mechanical or manufacturing engineering
- 3+ years industry experience in product design
- Previous automotive experience in vehicle design (BIW, chassis, interior)
- Use of 3D CAD and CAE tools, Catia would be highly advantageous
