Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for all your own designs throughout of the project delivery.
Support and liaising with external parties throughout project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with internal, external legislation.
Attend internal / external design reviews.
Liaise with sales / production and operations to ensure cost-effective and design for manufacture.
Track your own design hours and design changes requests.
Ensure Vault, folder structure and systems are adhered too.
Key areas of Responsibility
Create 3D models / generation of detailed design (assembly’s & components)
Carry out calculations, FMEA, manuals, risk assessments.
Experience and Skills
Ideally working experience with conveyors from both a hands-on and a design role. However, a hands-on Mechanical background would be considered.
Strong mechanical skills, with additional knowledge of electrical switches and motors
Previous experience with Autodesk inventor, AutoCAD.
