We are currently recruiting a number of Composite Laminators to join a lightweight composite manufacturing organisation in Cambridgeshire.
To be considered for this role you must have pre-preg composite laminating experience and will have worked on projects within the Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace or Defence markets.
Key Attributes / Skills:
- To laminate components & moulds as specified by customer drawings and operating procedures
- To be skilled in laminating monolythic and multiple shot sandwich structures
- To ensure components & moulds are laminated in a timely manner, to excellent quality standards and deadlines
- Fully competent in de-moulding components without damaging either the part or the mould using the correct tools
- Excellent understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings
- Experience in preparation and application of composite repairs
- Able to highlight issues relating to the laminating operational procedures and be able to problem solve
- To be able to manufacture templates for kit cutting from lay-up data
