Our client, an automotive interiors specialist in Northamptonshire are currently recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer to work in their new state of the art facility.
Duties & Responsibilities:
NPI process – attend project meetings, providing counsel and governance.
Continuous Improvement – responsible for driving improvements as part of the Hoshin process/approach.
Process Governance – systematic reviews, audit adherence, review SMV studies.
Workflow Governance – continuous improvement calendar, support change management and NPI.
Process and Engineering subject matter expert, providing counsel and support to the Production Mangers and Team Leaders.
Align across both manufacturing facilities to understand and share best practice to support standardization.
Process definition, Process Flow and Process Reviews
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum of two years automotive manufacturing engineering experience.
A proven track record of delivering results against projects and improvement programmes.
Appreciation of continuous improvement tools – desirable.
