We are currently recruiting a number of Prepper / Polishers to work for a leading automotive company in Dagenham.
The ideal candidate will have automotive or aerospace prep / polish experience within a manufacturing, production or smart repair environment.
Duties:
Prepare surfaces and/or rectify paint contaminates “paint inclusions, orange peel etc”, finding solutions that utilises your expertise in paint understanding.
Using machine operated and hand polishing techniques to complete the associated tasks.
To complete any process documentation as is required in line with the build instructions.
External paint detailing & surface finishing corrective actions.
Qualifications & Experience
A good understanding of, Quality improvement requirements and of Continuous Improvement.
Be able to work under pressure and prioritise own workload as required.
Proactive and positive approach, with a desire to succeed both personally and for the business
Demonstrable experience of correcting surface defects and contamination.
Contract Details:
6 month contracts.
Brand new factory with plenty of progression opportunity.
£18-£22/hr (Inside IR35).
40-50 hrs per week.
