A Sales Executive is needed to join an ambitious Automotive equipment and vehicle service company.

The successful applicant will be responsible for selling exclusive garage systems to customers in the Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire regions.

This is a field based role that will require you to identify prospective clients in your set territory and present equipment and solutions to them professionally. 

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Using the CRM to record and monitor prospects, diarising calls made and plan visits. Accurately and regularly communicate and update head office.

  • Confidently negotiate with customers of all levels to gain sales and service agreements.

  • Demonstrate benefits of equipment both at head office and customer’s premises.

  • Generate sales to achieve Individual and department revenue targets.

  • Attend and participate in sales meetings and training and development.

  • Assist with segmentation of prospect data bases and national account data

  • Produce and analyse detailed sales reports and statistics.

  • Stay up to date with competitor products

  • Keep up to date on equipment and proactively learn about the benefits in using the products.

MAIN ATTRIBUTES AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Excellent communication skills verbal & written

  • Excellent sales ability achieving and working to profitability and productivity targets

  • Microsoft skills (including Excel, PowerPoint & Word)

  • Experience using CRM (training will be provided)

  • Proactive approach

  • Experience presenting products to customers at all levels

  • Ability to translate technical information.

  • Personable & Confident

ESSENTIAL

  • Full clean driving licence

  • 2 years field sales experience

FINANCIAL

  • £25,000 annual base salary

  • Commission is uncapped - OTE earnings of £50k+
