Our client, an automotive interiors specialist in Northamptonshire are currently recruiting a Senior Quality Engineer to work in their new state of the art manufacturing facility.
Duties:
Liaison with Customer & Supplier representatives to ensure understanding of requirements, issues and standards.
Customer Liaison and co-ordination of requirements with sales, engineering, manufacturing, logistic, purchasing and accounts.
Observe and maintain quality standards as per work instructions, samples and QMS document control.
Support, coaching and mentoring of personnel to assist in their on the career development.
Monitoring & ensuring customer complaints are dealt with in a timely manner.
Participating in Quality & Productivity Continuous improvements & the promotion of team problem solving.
Conduct / involvement in APQP, Control Plan, FMEA, Calibration, QMS and PPAP.
Perform Audit activities in line with company Audit Timing Plan.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience working within an automotive manufacturing environment.
NVQ Level 4 Qualification in an Automotive Context – essential.
NVQ Level 5 Qualification in an Automotive Context – desirable.
