Our client is building technology to change the way the world travels. On their behalf, we are currently recruiting a Senior Buyer ideally with engineering or manufacturing experience. The ideal candidate will provide direct procurement support to the business covering a variety of areas and report to the Supply Chain Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities
You will be working closely with the production, quality and program management departments and be responsible for managing the procurement activities of key work streams within the business.
Day to day activities will include:
Lead the supply chain for the various work streams.
Identification, selection and contracting with suppliers.
Close co-operation with the Production, Finance, Quality and Engineering teams.
Secure on time, cost and quality deliveries to the various company sites.
Conduct RFI and RFP with end-to-end responsibility from analysis to manufacture.
Demonstrable experience working within a Supply Chain/Purchasing department.
Proficient use with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Proficient administration and organisation skills.
Previous use of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system is desirable.

Must be a proactive, open, and direct communicator who engages comfortably and credibly with all levels of the organisation.
